Easy Instant Yeast Bread Recipe
Ingredients:
500g all-purpose flour (or bread flour for a chewier texture)
5g instant dry yeast
450ml warm water (about 110°F / 43°C)
1 tbsp sugar (helps activate the yeast)
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter (optional, for softer bread)
Instructions:
Mix Dry Ingredients
In a large bowl, stir the flour, instant yeast, sugar and salt together.
Add Warm Water & Oil
Gradually pour in warm water and oil (if using). Stir until a shaggy dough forms.
Knead the Dough
Place the dough on a floured surface and knead for 8-10 minutes, until smooth and springy.
First Rise
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth to keep moisture, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
Shape & Second Rise
Punch down the dough, and shape it into a loaf, and place it in a greased loaf pan. Let it rise again for 30-45 minutes.
Bake to Perfection
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
Cool & Enjoy!
Let the bread cool before slicing. Enjoy fresh, homemade bread with a soft, airy crumb!
